USA Health University Hospital
USA Health University Hospital is an acute care facility serving as the major referral
center for southwest Alabama, southeast Mississippi, and portions of northwest Florida.
University Hospital is the primary teaching hospital for USA Health. As a comprehensive
stroke center, level 1 trauma, level four epilepsy center, the hospital offers state-of-the-art
care for persons afflicted with various diseases of the brain and nervous system.
The hospital has the only 3T MRI available in the area.
USA Health Children’s & Women’s Hospital
Located about five minutes from University Hospital, Children’s & Women’s Hospital
is the only pediatric emergency department in the region and one of few freestanding
hospitals in the United States devoted to the needs of women and children. There is
a dedicated pediatric neurology team of physicians providing neurology consulting
services. Neurology residents are able to rotate through the pediatric neurology team.
Strada Patient Care Center
The USA Health Strada Patient Care Center is home to all neurology specialty clinics
all in one location. Our 133,000-square-foot facility offers patients access to care
in one of 153 exam rooms. With state-of-the-art equipment, our physicians and care
providers deliver advanced treatments and procedures to patients from Mobile and surrounding
areas. Neurology special clinics offered include epilepsy, movement disorders, neuromuscular,
and neuroimmunology.
Stanton Road Clinic
The Stanton Road Clinic offers outpatient care for resident neurology continuity clinic. It serves as a primary, secondary, tertiary referral center for neurological services in the surrounding area. The clinic is within 5 minutes walking distance from the main hospital.
