Student Academic Success
Thank you for your patience as we work diligently to best accommodate and support the USA community during this time of transition and uncertainty. We recognize that these changes represent inconvenience and hardship for all of us, but together we will make it through this crisis because WE ARE JAGS!
Please keep the following in mind:
· Watch your Jag email. Just like classes, student services, campus resources, and many organizations are all working online. Your Jag email is our primary point of contact for supporting your ongoing success at USA.
· Visit the university webpage, as well as homepages for your department and other offices.
· Change can increase stress and anxiety. Counseling and Testing offers virtual appointments and provides extensive online resources at: https://www.southalabama.edu/ departments/counseling.
Ask for help! Our One Stop/South CARES team is working to support students displaced or impacted by programming adjustments. Information regarding academic, financial, and campus resources can be found by visiting: https://www.southalabama.edu/onestop/cares/index.html. One Stop/South Cares can also be reached at (251) 341-4USA and firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please stay tuned and take care of one another. Remember, this is not a “me” situation but a “we” situation...one that we will overcome together.
Student Academic Success (SAS) supports the mission of the University by developing, implementing, and assessing initiatives and practices to insure all students are offered the resources and relationships necessary for high quality learning, academic persistence, and degree completion.
