About The Office of Immigration

The Office of Immigration at the University of South Alabama (USA) is responsible for immigration compliance for nonimmigrant students, faculty, and staff associated with USA Main Campus, USA Health as well as the Mitchell Cancer InstituteChildren's & Women's Hospital, and University Hospital. The Office of Immigration is also responsible for the development and implementation of policies and procedures associated with U.S. immigration compliance functions for foreign nationals associated with current and potential faculty/staff employment, J exchange scholars (including postdoctoral trainees, degree and non-degree students, professors and research scholars), academic/co-curricular exchange program participants and international guests. Inquiries about immigration for non-citizens should be e-mailed to immigration@southalabama.edu
