CRGSA Students Publish Third Research Paper in Graph Coloring

The Coloring Research Group of South Alabama (CRGSA) is a student research group at the University of South Alabama focused on original research in graph coloring. The CRGSA officially has its third published paper! The paper characterizing the enumeratively chromatic-choosable theta graphs has been published in Enumerative Combinatorics and Applications:

Enumerative graph coloring studies not only whether a graph can be colored, but also the number of ways in which such colorings can be achieved. Theta graphs are an important family of graphs in this area, and the paper provides a characterization of when these graphs are enumeratively chromatic-choosable.
One of the referees remarked that “The result is quite interesting, and the proof is very well-written, nontrivial, yet not difficult to follow.”
Congratulations to Yanghong Chi, Seoju Lee, Fennec Morrissette, Gavin Nguyen, and Benjamin Whatley on this wonderful accomplishment. Yanghong Chi, Seoju Lee, and Gavin Nguyen are students at the Alabama School of Mathematics and Science, illustrating the strong partnership between ASMS and the CRGSA.
