As a member of the Alabama Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (ALSAMP), Fennec Morrissette had the opportunity to present their joint research with Micheal Bowdoin and Dr. Jeffrey Mudrock which was completed in the Coloring Research Group of South Alabama. On April 13-14, they traveled to Huntsville, Alabama for a two-day conference hosted by ALSAMP and the University of Alabama at Huntsville, and they presented their research on list flexibility in graph theory in a 45 minute poster session. They explained the basics of list flexibility and their findings to both the judges and fellow students. It was well-received, and they won the honorable mention award for the computer science and mathematics section. Fennec was honored to represent the University of South Alabama, its mathematics and statistics department, and the Coloring Research Group of South Alabama, and they look forward to possibly doing so again in the future.
