Research & Applied Training Milestone

In addition to the CCP Coursework Curriculum and the Applied Training Experiences described above, all CCP Students must complete a defined sequence of Program Milestones. These Program Milestones enable students to develop, apply, and be evaluated in Domain Specific Knowledge and Profession-Wide Competencies. These Program Milestones and their respective timelines for completion are detailed in the following sections and only listed here. These Program Milestones include:

• The Domain Specific Knowledge Competency Exam
• The Demonstration of Research Readiness Requirement
• The PhD Clinical Competency Exam
• The Doctoral Dissertation
• The Predoctoral Internship

Although some of these Program Milestones are embedded within the requirements of the MS and PhD Programs of Study, all CCP Students must complete all of these Program Milestones regardless of which Program of Study they entered into at admission.
