Institutional Planning and Assessment Committee
The University Institutional Planning and Assessment Committee governs the strategic planning process to include approving new or modified elements of the strategic plan, review and evaluation of University assessments of the strategic plan, and other planning activities (e.g., University Master Plan). The committee includes faculty, administrative, student, alumni, and community representation.
Charge of the Committee:
- Oversee and guide the direction, structure, and use of the University's strategic priorities.
- Guide and review the progress of the University on advancing its strategic priorities.
- Consider and offer recommendations for continuous advancement of our campus values: A Welcoming and Supportive Environment, A Global Perspective, A Pursuit of Excellence, Freedom in the Pursuit of Knowledge, Integrity, Transparency and Participation in Decision-Making.
- Ensure the University's mission and vision are periodically reviewed for alignment with the University's strategic direction at least every five years.
- Review and evaluate the University's indicators of success.
