Seven additional University of South Alabama students have been awarded the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship to participate in South’s International Education and Study Abroad program this summer, bringing the total to 10. This is the largest cohort of recipients South has ever had during a single semester.
“We are proud of our students, and thanks to the Gilman Scholarship, they will travel to seven different countries over the next year,” said Dr. Bri Ard, executive director of USA Global Engagement. “They will have life-changing opportunities that will allow them to have culturally enriched experiences.”
