OT Students Attend 2022 AOTA Conference

Six College of Allied Health Dept. of Occupational Therapy students and faculty traveled to San Antonio, Texas, to attend the 2022 American
Occupational Therapy Conference which was held on March 31 - April 3. The AOTA conference
and expo was an unique opportunity to connect with and learn from leaders in the profession.
While there, the students participated in a mix of learning ranging from educational
sessions, poster sessions, panel discussions, short courses/workshops, spotlight speakers
and more. It was the place to expand their knowledge of the latest updates on practice,
professional issues, and trends. They were even able to meet Cheryl Hall, the author
of Occupational Toolkit, a book they use often in school and in practice.
