Rising high school seniors from Mobile County Public School System recently visited the Pat Capps Covey College of Allied Health Professions for the college’s Healthcare Career Summer Camp.

Throughout the day, students explored a wide range of professions through hands-on activities, clinical skill experiences and department visits across the college. Campers learned more about Biomedical Sciences, Emergency Medical Services, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant Studies, Radiologic Sciences, and Speech Pathology and Audiology.

The camp offered students a closer look at the many paths available in allied health and the important role these professions play in supporting the health and well-being of patients and communities.
