Applied Linear Models

 

Bulletin Description Some results of matrix algebra, multivariate normaldistributions, distributions of quadratic forms, general linear models, design models with one factor and two factors including interaction, component-of- variance models, computing techniques.

Prerequisite MA 237 and ST 335 or ST 340. Computer Lab fee.

Coverage Material to be selected by the instructor

Learning Objectives The purpose of this course is to provide students with a solid foundation in the theory of linear models that will be useful in understanding the basic concepts of experimental designs, linear regression analysis, multivariate analysis. This course also provides various computing techniques using appropriate software.
