Capstone Conversations is an annual event hosted by the Department of Integrative Studies. It celebrates students completing their capstone projects and offers insight and inspiration to those preparing for their own journey.
What Is a Capstone?
The capstone is a final project—an internship or thesis—that allows students to apply what they've learned in real-world or research settings. Each project is tailored to the student’s interests and career goals.
2025 Highlights
This year’s Capstone Conversations featured two student panels sharing lessons learned from their capstone experiences.

- Breauna Finch, Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System: Reflected on how empathy and adaptability shape service in veteran healthcare.
Thesis Panel
Moderated by Dr. Thomas Adams

Why It Matters
Capstone Conversations isn’t just a showcase—it’s a way to see what’s possible. Students walk away with fresh ideas, encouragement, and a clearer vision for their own career path.
