Scholarships

The following scholarships are available to students majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies:
▼   Ed Bunnell Scholarship
The Ed Bunnell Scholarship is an endowed fund that was created to recognize the contributions of Dr. Ed Bunnell, the first Dean of the School of Continuing Education and Special Programs, toward promoting adult learning and continuing education at the University of South Alabama. Dr. Bunnell had a passion for helping hard-working, bright adult students achieve their educational goals.
▼   Thomas Corcoran Scholarship in Interdisciplinary Studies
The Thomas Corcoran Endowed Scholarship in Interdisciplinary Studies is an award given to adult students who are attempting to obtain a college degree. McCall Paralegal Scholarship
▼   Bruce McCall Endowed Memorial Scholarship
The Bruce McCall Endowed Memorial Scholarship for Paralegal Studies was established to assist students enrolled in the USA Special Courses Paralegal Studies Certificate Program.
▼   Joycelyn Franklin Finley Trailblazer Scholarship
The Joycelyn Franklin Finley Trailblazer Scholarship was established in 2014 by Dr. Joycelyn Alexandria Finley in memory of her mother who was a trailblazer in her community and the Mobile County Public School System. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide an annual scholarship to an Interdisciplinary Studies student. Preference will be given to underserved populations.
▼   Interdisciplinary Studies Endowed Scholarship
The Interdisciplinary Endowed Scholarship is an award to be given to a student who demonstrates high academic achievement in Interdisciplinary Studies. Emphasis is on study abroad.
▼   Bobbie and Steve Hancock Scholarship in Interdisciplinary Studies
The Bobbie and Steve Hancock Scholarship provides financial assistance to an undergraduate Continuing Education student majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies.
▼   Captain George A. Manders Scholarship in Interdisciplinary Studies
This scholarship was established in March 2012 by Dr. Jeanette E. Manders for the purpose of providing an annual tuition award endowed scholarship to a deserving USA student currently enrolled in the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies. Student must have a minimum 2.0 GPA and exhibit financial need. Preference will be given to a veteran of U.S. military service.
