University of South Alabama Cybersecurity Program of Study
The BS in Information Technology Network Focus Track degree curriculum is aligned with the National Center of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity knowledge units. The academic program consists of a foundation in computing with specializations areas in digital forensics, networking, and web publishing. Students wishing to complete the cybersecurity program must declare as a BS in Information Technology major with Networking concentration. The School of Computing provides a wide variety of extracurricular activities to supplement their program of study. Students are encouraged to participate in the Student Chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), Jaguar Women in Technology (J-WIT), DayZero (a cybersecurity competition club), and the Video Game Development Club (VGDC).
