For Parents

South Alabama Entrance Sign

The health and safety of our students, faculty and staff is our highest priority, and we continue to closely monitor the evolving coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. For updates on the University’s response to COVID-19, click here.

Following CDC guidelines regarding in-person gatherings, we will continue to hold online orientation sessions.

In preparation for the spring semester, we held virtual orientation sessions for parents to learn more about South and ask our panelist questions. During these sessions, we covered topics such as student life on campus, safety and health, academic success and career services, student financial services, housing, counseling services and more.
