FAQs
The following FAQs are specific to students that are admitted for Fall 2021 only.
Admitted students who have registered for orientation will be added to an online course and scheduled to meet with their Orientation Leader, based on their confirmed orientation session. Be sure to check your JagMail regularly, as you will need to accept the invitation to the online orientation course in order to participate. Your Orientation Leader will also send an email to your JagMail account with orientation specifics after you accept the orientation course. Additionally, students should make sure they are available to meet their Orientation Leader virtually on the day and at the time that was confirmed at the time of orientation registration.
After a student signs up for orientation, they will also be contacted to schedule an appointment with their academic advisor. Beginning April 20, advisors will offer assistance with course registration virtually. This process will run independently of virtual orientation with your Orientation Leader. For most students, this advising appointment will take place prior to the student's meeting with their Orientation Leader, but depending on availability, it could also take place after. Details will be provided to the student via JagMail.
Various online resources and virtual opportunities will be provided to parents and guardians.
Please check the For Parents tab for updates.
