Ashley Hay

Ashley is originally from a small town in north Alabama called Ashville. She moved to the Gulf Coast to attend South where she earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Literature and her Master’s of Science in Instructional Design and Development. Throughout her time at South, as a student and employee, she developed a strong appreciation for supporting students as they navigate both the academic and personal challenges that come with college life. Ashley is passionate about helping students feel supported, informed, and confident as they work toward their goals. She values building genuine connections with students and creating an environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and seeking guidance. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys reading, gardening, nature walks, and relaxing at home with her spouse and small zoo of pets.
