Our health informatics program focuses on improving patient care and outcomes through the use of information systems that support healthcare providers, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare organizations, and empowering patients to be more involved in their care.

Why Study Health Informatics at USA?

The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS 2020) anticipates that openings for medical records and health information technicians will increase 8 percent nationwide between 2019 and 2029. The School of Computing is a designated National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense. The School of Computing has many departmental scholarship opportunities to offer our students.
