The University of South Alabama Master of Music Degree
The University of South Alabama has received program approval from the National Association of Schools of Music, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and the Alabama Commission on Higher Education for a Master of Music degree.
All information listed below, including enrollment procedures and other requirements, are currently in effect.

- Concentration in Performance (Piano, Voice, Brass, Woodwinds, or Percussion)
- Concentration in Collaborative Keyboard
- Concentration in Music Education (Instrumental, Choral)
Academic Requirements
- Undergraduate Degree in Music
- A minimum GPA of at least a 3.0 on all undergraduate work. In exceptional cases, applicants may be considered with at least a 2.5 GPA on all undergraduate work, or at least a 2.75 GPA on the last 60 hours of undergraduate work.
- International applicants: TOEFL score (minimum 71)
