The minor in Health and Wellness provides non-HKS students interested in pursuing a career in Health and Wellness specific knowledge and skills that will complement their major degree. Students completing this minor will obtain CPR and First Aid certification. The required courses will provide students with a foundation of health and wellness in the six domains of health (emotional, environmental, social, physical, spiritual, and intellectual), behavior change theory, nutrition and fitness guidelines while the elective courses will allow the students to select three courses that will give them skills and/or knowledge in areas of health and wellness they feel will better prepare them for their chosen career path.
