New Faculty, New Energy: Welcome our Newest Jags

One of the most exciting aspects of working in the Mitchell College of Business is the opportunity to welcome new faculty members and getting them immersed in the MCOB culture. This academic year afforded us the chance to make three rich additions to our team. Each brings a tremendous amount of intellectual energy coupled with diverse experiences and skill sets.

Robyn Brouer

Robyn Brouer is the new holder of the Ben May Professorship in Management. She brings a wealth of research prowess in leadership, social influence and effectiveness, person-environment fit and most recently recruitment and diversity and inclusion. A Florida State alum, Robyn comes to the MCOB from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY.

Ray Wu

Ray Wu comes to the MCOB from the University of Iowa. His research encompasses phenomena and individuals at work that society and organizations generally deem unwelcome, undesirable, and/or stigmatized. His work has broad implications for human resource management practice in organizations.

Adam Harper

Adam Harper, a University of Texas – Arlington alum, came to South from the University of Texas - El Paso. Adam’s research and teaching interests includes equity options, macro finance, portfolio management, and corporate finance. He is playing a major role in preparing the next generation of investment professionals.

Cumulatively, these new colleagues add a layer of vibrancy that elevates our profile in teaching, research, and service. They join a team of conspicuously committed individuals that work daily to ensure the best for our students and other partners. As you have an opportunity, extend an extra round of Jag welcome to our new faculty and friends.
