Student Responsibility and Academic Advising
All Mitchell College of Business students are assigned an advisor at the conclusion of freshmen or transfer orientation. In addition, the Office of Student Services is available to all students for academic advising and evaluation of their degree-progress. Any questions related to your undergraduate program of study should be directed to the Student Services staff or your faculty advisor.
Students enrolled in the MCOB are classified as Business Administration majors until declaring a major. Majors in the Mitchell College of Business include Accounting, Economics & Finance, International Business, Management, Marketing or General Business. Students may choose from a variety of concentrations within their major. Minors are not required, but students are allowed to declare a minor in a subject area offered outside the College if they choose. After declaring a major, students will be advised by a faculty advisor in that major area.
