Women in Business
The College celebrated women in business throughout the month of October. MCOB also welcomed over 29 guest lectures for National Business Women's Week/ Women Entrepreneurs Week including Executive Leadership Series guest speaker, Olivia Host, partner with BKD, LLP. Various students and faculty also attended Mobile's Focus Women's Conference.
Coastal Venture Competition
The Melton Center hosted it’s annual Coastal Pitch Competition! A big congratulations
to all the students who participated as well as 1st place Justin Wilkerson, 1st runner
up Patricia West, 2nd runner up Nikolas Hughey, and 3rd runner up Rachel Aune on their
outstanding pitches!
Breakfast with a Side of Success
Jere Friedman, J.D., M.A., CMMI, met with freshman Mitchell Scholars to discuss the meaning of success and help align them for their next four years.
