What a great first Month at the Mitchell College of Business! It started off right with the family picnic, convocation, and ice cream social for new students. And to top it off, we also had donuts with the dean during the first few days to welcome everyone back to start a new school year.

Students and parents caught a break from moving in. After grabbing a hot dog and a cold drink, MCOB Ambassadors gave tours to new students and parents.

MCOB Faculty welcomed students back to campus by sporting the MCOB anniversary polos fashioned in Teal. Teal is an official supporting color of the University.

Dean Wood made sure students were stocked up with donuts and coffee for the first two days of class. But that's not all, students also got a free MCOB t-shirt.

The Mitchell College of Business kicked off it's Executive Leadership Series with Mr Pete Hayes, founder and CEO of Middleburg Venture Partners LLC, as part of the Executive Leadership Series. Mr. Hayes spoke to the students about keys to success. His most important keys, "work hard, work smart and don't be a jerk."
