AIChE Team Receives Executive Committee's Gary Leach Recognition Award

A team of engineers received the AIChE Executive Committee's Gary Leach Recognition Award. This award recognizes and publicizes the activities of a group in the organization whose performance showed significant accomplishments toward the Institute's mission and objectives.
Dr. Christy Wheeler-West, Associate Professor in the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department (far left) was a part of this team.
The Gary Leach Recognition Award recognizes the efforts of a group of members for a notable project or event. Theirs was for leading virtual communities of practice to support faculty members during the pandemic by sharing experiences and best practices in teaching chemical engineering topics in online and hybrid formats.
