Posted on July 5, 2023 by Derik Wolfe

The Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department hosted a hybrid Summer Program for Edge AI Technology. The program lasted for 4 weeks from June 4 to July 1, 2023. During the program, 4 students from Alabama A&M University attended an in-person training, and 4 students from Nueta Hidatsa Sahnish College (Tribal College) and North Dakota State University attended a remote training. As a part of NSF funded project - RII Track 2 FEC: Building Research Infrastructure and Workforce in Edge Artificial Intelligence (#2218046), this summer program was intended to conduct a unique education-career pathway to provide an opportunity for minority students to learn Edge AI technologies and skills and to develop their career plan. Dr. Jinhui Wang from the ECE department coordinated the program.
