USA student flutist Rebecca Reinhardt successfully completed her final Graduate Flute Recital on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center Recital Hall.  Assisting in this performance with Reinhardt was USA faculty pianist Robert Holm and USA faculty flutist and harpist Andra Bohnet.  The concert was presented in front of an empty house due to coronavirus protections, and all of the musicians performing in this concert maintained proper social distancing per university guidelines.

This recital was the culmination of Rebecca Reinhardt's time as a student at South Alabama.  Along with her now completed graduate degree, she previously earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education.  During her time at USA, she was also a key graduate assistant, taking part in the organization and instruction of several ensembles and education programs within the Music Department.

Rebecca Reinhardt's final graduate recital was presented in partial fulfillment of the degree Master of Music with Concentration in Music Performance – Woodwinds.  Reinhardt is a student of Andra Bohnet.

The recital program included the following pieces --

Tango Fantasia by Jacob Gade

Le Moment du Cristal by Yuko Uebayashi

The Butterfly/The Boys of Ballisodare/Kid on the Mountain (slip jigs of Irish traditional origins)

Within by Ian Clarke

Sonata, op. 94 by Sergei Prokofiev
