Undergraduate Degrees at the School of Computing
The School of Computing prepares students for careers in today’s technology-driven world through innovative academic programs, hands-on learning, research, and real-world experience. With undergraduate and graduate programs spanning Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Health Informatics, Cybersecurity, and Computing, students gain the skills and experience to succeed in a wide range of computing.
All undergraduate students in the Mitchell College of Business will complete a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Computer Information Systems*
The Computer Information Systems degree prepares students to become professionals who analyze the evolving role of information and organizational processes. Their work involves the design, implementation, and maintenance of information systems that form the backbone of today’s global economy.
Computer Science
A Computer Science degree equips students with the skills necessary to develop next-generation computing tools and technologies. Students gain hands-on experience in areas such as cybersecurity, video game development, artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, and big data analytics.
Health Informatics
A degree in Health Informatics enables students to be a part of the digital revolution transforming healthcare and enhancing patients’ lives. HI graduates collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical team members to reduce errors, identify new treatments, improve efficiency and effectiveness within healthcare organizations, and empower patients.
Information Technology
Our Information Technology (IT) degree prepares students for employment in companies where they determine and implement the most effective technology solutions for specific needs. IT students study networking, web design, information assurance, cybersecurity, and digital forensics.
