The SOC is the only School of Computing in Alabama and is a nationally designated Center of Academic Excellence. SOC offers cutting edge programs in computer forensics, information assurance and health informatics.
Opportunities
The graduate programs of SOC will prepare students for research and careers in a variety
of computing fields. Currently, there are fewer degrees being awarded in these fields
than there are jobs available.
