Virtual career fairs are a convenient way for you to connect with recruiters and employers from the comfort of your computer. Similar to a traditional job fair, virtual career fairs are live, fully interactive and held at a specific time. Take a moment to review the following tips.

- Research participating organizations of interest
- Prepare your resume
- Practice your pitch
- Select a quiet, distraction-free location
- Test your video/audio equipment
- Dress professionally
- Treat each interaction like an interview
- Speak clearly and with confidence
- Take notes, including the names and contact details of the representatives
- Review notes
- Follow-up the next day with a thank you email

We encourage you to register in advance, be prepared with an updated resume and make sure to test your video/audio equipment prior to the start of the event.
