The Office of Faculty Affairs and Faculty Development held its first staff retreat, "OneTeam: Supporting Faculty Excellence," on June 12 at the Faculty Club.

During the event, Binata Mukherjee, M.D., MBA, presented "The Team of Faculty Affairs and Faculty Development," and staff participated in team-building exercises designed to align collective goals for the upcoming academic year.

Tiquera Hall, Ph.D., Marcina Lang, MPA, and Angie O'Neal, M.Ed., facilitated a session on the Strength Deployment Inventory (SDI). This assessment focuses on ways to improve workplace relationships, team collaboration, and communication by helping individuals understand the core motives that drive their behavior.
