Faculty and staff enjoy annual appreciation day

To celebrate the end of a successful academic year, the Whiddon College of Medicine
hosted a faculty and staff appreciation event on Thursday, May 14.
The celebration brought employees together for a day of food, fun and fellowship. Faculty and staff enjoyed breakfast and snacks, T-shirts and other USA swag, outdoor games, a visit from SouthPaw and Miss Pawla, as well as rock-painting and art stations.
The event also featured drawings for door prizes made possible by supporters from the community: Chick-fil-A, FooSackly's, Bop's Frozen Custard, Scrubs by Zoghby, Flowers by James, Taco Mama, Mellow Mushroom, USA Athletics, Maple Street Biscuit Company, Lovely Nails & Spa, Knot Just Pretzels, Jerusalem Cafe, Smoothie King, Red & White, Greers, Fleet Feet, Beads by Sam, and Geiger.
The annual event recognizes the dedication, teamwork and commitment of the faculty and staff whose efforts support the college’s mission every day and help shape the next generation of physicians and researchers.
