USA Medical Alumni Reunion 2026The University of South Alabama Medical Alumni Association will host the 2026 Medical Alumni Reunion, the first on-campus reunion, June 12–13.

This year’s reunion holds special significance as the Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine honors its founding class — the Class of 1976 — as they celebrate their 50th anniversary. All alumni, especially milestone classes ending in 1s and 6s, are encouraged to join the celebration.

The weekend begins Friday with a return to the Medical Sciences Building for an open house, followed by a panel discussion on medical education at the Whiddon College of Medicine. Alumni are invited to submit questions in advance for the Q&A session. The evening is reserved for classmates to reconnect and host informal gatherings.

Saturday’s program offers a full day of events, including a State of the College address, the Medical Alumni and Leadership Awards luncheon, and a variety of interactive experiences. Attendees can take part in a hard hat tour of the new Whiddon College of Medicine building, enjoy a guided bus tour of campus, participate in a culinary medicine demonstration, and attend engaging continuing medical education sessions. The weekend concludes with a farewell reception featuring university leadership.

Lifetime members of the USA Medical Alumni Association receive a discounted registration rate. Alumni interested in joining can learn more at connect.southalabama.edu/page/maamemberships.
