Class: 2026
Hometown: Oakman, AL
Education: B.S. in Biomedical Sciences, University of Alabama at Birmingham
What do you enjoy most about being a student at the Whiddon College of Medicine?
I love the family feel of the program. My classmates, professors, and attendings invest
time into me both academically and socially to help me achieve my goals. I feel supported,
and it’s just a great environment to be part of.
Are you involved in any research, organizations or other initiatives at the Whiddon
College of Medicine?
I’ve presented multiple research projects at national meetings including the Southern
Society for Clinical Investigation's Southern Regional Meeting in New Orleans, and
the ASC conference in Washington, D.C. I currently serve as a Continuous Quality Improvement
chair holder for the College of Medicine and am a member of the student subcommittee.
I have held officer positions for career interest groups and am currently applying
to pediatrics residency, hoping to eventually work in the field of pediatric emergency
medicine.
What are your interests and hobbies?
I love to spend time golfing or watching sports, hanging out with friends and family,
or traveling whenever I have downtime.
