Matthew TaoMatthew Tao, a second-year medical student at the Whiddon College of Medicine, has launched RxMnemonic, a website and weekly email newsletter designed to help health students master prescription drug information through easy-to-remember mnemonics.

Each Monday, subscribers receive a single drug delivered to their inbox, paired with a short, story-based mnemonic and a clinical pearl. The format is designed to be simple and effective. Students can review key details like mechanism, receptor targets and contraindications in just a few minutes. Each edition also includes a practice question from the previous week, allowing users to test their retention over time.

“With third-party resources being so expensive, I wanted to create something that anyone could use to study for their exams at no cost,” he said.

The platform is already gaining traction. More than 200 users have subscribed to the newsletter, and the site has drawn 40,000 visitors in the past month.

Visit RxMnemonic.com to learn more and sign up for the newsletter.
