Amanda Arnold, M.S., and LaToya Gamble, MBA, are representing the college of the Staff Assembly.

Amanda Arnold, MS, RDN, LD, education and training specialist in Faculty Affairs and Faculty Development, and LaToya M. Gamble, MBA, coordinator of clinical education in Student Affairs, have been selected to represent the Whiddon College of Medicine on the Staff Assembly.

The University of South Alabama's Staff Assembly is an advisory group that provides input and recommendations on behalf of University general division staff on topics affecting recruitment, retention, staff engagement and job satisfaction. The Staff Assembly also serves as a channel for exchange and coordination between staff and University administration, with a commitment to ensuring staff voices are heard by the President's Office. Its purpose includes advancing the University's vision, mission, values and goals, while promoting a sense of community among staff and reflecting the University's Community Values and Code of Conduct. The group held its inaugural meeting in July 2024.

"I'm looking forward to representing the college and making sure our staff's perspectives are part of these conversations at the University level," Gamble said.
