In celebration of National Doctors’ Day, USA Health will provide special meals and gifts for its physicians on Tuesday, March 30, 2021.

A grab-and-go breakfast will be set up at Children’s & Women’s Hospital from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the administration board room. A grab-and-go lunch will be offered at University Hospital from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the café conference room.

In addition, USA Health will provide eco-friendly lunch containers as gifts for the physicians.

USA Health employs 618 physicians, including residents, fellows and faculty, and temporary physicians and faculty members.

National Doctors’ Day is a holiday that honors physicians for the work they do for their patients, their communities and society as a whole. In 1990, former President George H. W. Bush proclaimed March 30 as National Doctors’ Day, marking the anniversary of the first use of general anesthesia in surgery.
