Anthony Bessios has over 20 years building expertise and experience in electrical engineering. What began as curiosity as a child for the wave forms on radar signals seen in a news story, developed into a lifelong passion for the field, and a lifelong quest for knowledge and discovery.

Anthony holds 25 US patents several of them filed also internationally, with colleagues and professors, and his desire to innovate, and continue to learn and push forward continues to propel him forward into new pursuits.
Anthony has worked for companies such as Bell Labs, Lucent Technologies, Texas Instruments, Rambus and Ansaldo STS USA (Hitachi);  at the same time, he was teaching part time at the Electrical Engineering departments of Lehigh University and University of Pittsburgh.  Currently, he devotes full time energy to infecting his students with his passion for electrical engineering. Anthony considers teaching students and sharing the knowledge, a priority, and seeing their growth toward becoming EEs is very rewarding.

Anthony received his BSEE from National Technical University of Athens, Greece and MSEE and Ph.D. from Northeastern University, Boston MA and his thesis and research / career experience lies in the general areas of DSP and communications.  He also held a 3-year visiting research assistant appointment at the Signal and Image Processing Institute at USC, Los Angeles, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute in Fort Pierce, FL.  Anthony is also a Senior Member of the IEEE.

In his “spare” time, Anthony enjoys traveling, yoga, biking, fishing, reading, cooking, and exploring his new home in Mobile, Alabama.
