Dr. Matt Campbell spoke with NBC 15's Andrea Ramey about a recent spear phishing attack.
According to NBC 15, "It's a hack that cost tax payers nearly half a million dollars. The Mobile Housing Board was the apparent victim of an email spear phishing attack earlier this year that caused the housing board's CFO to wire $478,000 to some bad guys. So how were hackers able to pull it off? NBC 15's Andrea Ramey obtained the emails that outline the con in this Reality Check."
