Directions to University Hospital

If you have an urgent medical need when the Student Heath Center (SHC) is closed, you should call 911 or go to a hospital emergency room, such as University Hospital. Costs for these services are the responsibility of the student and are not covered by your student health fee.

Take Old Shell Rd. traveling east (toward downtown Mobile) Go approximately 4.3 miles and turn left at Mobile Street (Traffic Signal).Go approximately 1½ miles and after the road curves, the University Hospital is the 2nd building on the right after the bridge.

Take I-10 East to I-65 North. Take Springhill Avenue Exit and turn right onto Springhill Avenue. Go approximately 2 miles and turn left onto Mobile Street (traffic signal). Go approximately 1½ miles and after the road curves, the University Hospital is the 2nd building on the right after the bridge.

Take I-65 South to the Springhill Avenue Exit and turn left onto Springhill Avenue. Go approximately 2 miles and turn left onto Mobile Street (traffic signal). Go approximately 1½ miles and after the road curves, the University Hospital is the 2nd building on the right past the bridge.

Take Highway 98 to Springhill Avenue. Take a left onto Springhill Avenue and go approximately ½ mile to Mobile Street. Take a left onto Mobile Street and go approximately 1½ miles and after the road curves the University Hospital is the 2nd building on the right past the bridge.
