Centered on partnership and collaborative efforts between the University of South Alabama, Coastal Alabama Community College, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, Bishop State Community College, Chickasaw City School System, and the Mobile Area Education Foundation , Collaborative Opportunity Grant partners aim to reduce the transfer shock of community college students to the University of South Alabama by developing outreach strategies to help students and families navigate the Pathway USA program and to redesign the college algebra course to ensure students who transfer are supported to, and through, graduation.
