Center wins AHF Grant

The Center has won a grant from the Alabama Humanities Foundation to produce six more episodes of the War and Memory Podcast. Frye Gaillard interviews scholars, writers, museum and memorial directors, and veterans addressing the topic of war and memory from many different angles. Full schedule of guests and release dates to be announced soon. The first two episodes available here:
Episode 1 Stephen Murray, author of The Battle over Peliliu (University of Alabama Press, 2016), discusses his book and a forgotten episode of World War II.
Episode 2 Bob Adams talks about his work in the Alabama Humanities Foundation’s program, “Literature and the Veteran Experience.”
