Supporting the Jaguar Marching Band
Exciting plans are underway to build an innovative band complex to provide a permanent home on the University of South Alabama campus for the Jaguar Marching Band. The complex will encompass 24,700 square feet of space, and construction (to be completed by 2026) is slated to cost $13 million.
The Jaguar Marching Band Complex will house a full ensemble rehearsal hall, drumline rehearsal studio, color guard rehearsal studio, dressing rooms, offices, a music library and essential storage space for uniforms, instruments, props and gear. In addition, the complex will include a full-size lighted practice field identical to the Abraham A. Mitchell Field at Hancock Whitney Stadium.
Together, we can build a new permanent home for the Jaguar Marching Band and continue to achieve the level of excellence that makes the University of South Alabama the Flagship of the Gulf Coast.
