Posted on February 7, 2024 by MCOB Outreach
The newly established Dean of The Mitchell College of Business, Dr. Michael Capella, met with students over the seasonal demand of king cake yesterday in the MCOB lobby, this served as an opportunity for Dr. Capella to connect directly with students, listen to their perspectives, and share his vision for the future of business education at Mitchell College.
Meeting over the king cake, supplied by Davidson High school’s culinary class, students were able to have a casual discussion with some of the MCOB faculty and connect with their professors outside of the classroom making it easier for the students to share their ideas and listen to the plans and innovations that MCOB has in its near future.
As Dr. Capella assumes his role as dean, students at The Mitchell College of Business can look forward to a transformative educational experience characterized by collaboration, innovation, and excellence. With a shared commitment to student success, the college is poised to achieve new heights of academic excellence and make a meaningful impact in the world of business.
