Hope Hill

Hope Hill

Bio: My name is Hope Hill and I am a recent graduate of South Alabama! I came to South not realizing I wanted to pursue a legal career. In fact, my initial intentions were to become a psychiatrist. After meeting others who intended to pursue a legal career, my mindset began to shift. The law is the foundational pillar of our society. A career in this field allows me to serve my community and directly impact the lives of others. My time at South revealed to me my own devotion to public service while simultaneously providing me with a great foundation in my STEM field of choice, chemistry. This is precisely the great thing about the legal profession; it allows you to pursue many different interests and gives you a platform to use various areas of expertise. With that being said, I hope to pursue a career in either criminal or patent law, but I am still open to exploring other areas.

Major: Chemistry

Law School: University of Alabama School of Law

Aesha Soni

Aesha Soni

Bio: I was originally on a pre-med track but I quickly realized that my interest in healthcare did not necessarily stem from patient care or research but more so from bioethical issues and public health concerns. My special interest in health law began when I learned about the many instances of inequality and injustices in healthcare faced by large swaths of the population, especially by people of color. These are the people I would like to advocate for as a lawyer.

Major: Professional Health Sciences - Concentration: Management

Law School: University of Miami School of Law
