Here is how to use TELL SOUTH:

  1. Dial TELL SOUTH at (251) 341-1863 or toll-free at (866) 449-9588
  2. When requested, enter your account number and your secret four-digit pin
  3. Choose the type of information you need from TELL SOUTH's main menu:
    • Press 1 for balance inquiries
    • Press 2 for transaction inquiries
    • Press 3 to post a transaction
    • Press 4 for changes to your account
    • Press 9 to replay the menu

After each main menu selection, TELL SOUTH will offer you further choices. Simply press the corresponding key on your telephone to indicate your selection. To identify specific accounts, use the sub-account identifiers: 
0 Share (Savings) Account
10-19 Tuition Loans
20-39 Loan Accounts
61 IRA Club Accounts
68 Christmas Club Accounts
71-79 Checking Accounts
81-89 Certificates of Deposit
91-99 Certificates of Deposit

During any menu, you may select these other options:

  • Press 9 to return to the main menu
  • Press # to end call
  • Press * to replay current information
  • Press ** to replay previous menu
