Do you want to be a part of the JMB? All it takes are four easy steps!
Step 1 - Apply to USA!
You must be fully admitted to the University of South Alabama in order to audition for the Jaguar Marching Band. Membership in the JMB is open by audition to all full-time students at the University of South Alabama, and students do not have to major or minor in music in order to participate in the Jaguar Marching Band!
Step 2 - Submit your Video Audition for the JMB
Due to the current COVID-19 outbreak and for the safety of all auditionees we have moved all JMB auditions to an online video submission format effective November 1, 2020. Please find the specific procedure for your section (Brass/WW, Jaguar Drumline, Jaguar Colorguard) below!
All JMB video auditions will be evaluated beginning February 15, 2021 for acceptance into the JMB and scholarship consideration. Students can continue to submit audition videos for Brass and WW sections through June 30, 2021. Students wishing to audition for the Jaguar Drumline and Jaguar Colorguard will need to adhere to the March 26, 2021 deadline. Students must be accepted to the University of South Alabama prior to the awarding of a Jaguar Marching Band scholarship.

Step 3 - Fill out JagSpot for Scholarship Consideration
When submitting your general scholarship application please click "yes" to the question regarding the USA Department of Music/Jaguar Marching Band. This will then move you to the Department of Music/Jaguar Marching Band JagSpot Application. Please fill out this short application completely. Once you have submitted this information you will be eligible for your Jaguar Marching Band Scholarship.
