Schedule an Audition
Do you want to be a part of the JMB? All it takes are three easy steps!
Step 1 - Apply to USA!
You must be fully admitted to the University of South Alabama in order to audition for the Jaguar Marching Band. Membership in the JMB is open by audition to all full-time students at the University of South Alabama, and students do not have to major or minor in music in order to participate in the Jaguar Marching Band!
Step 2 - Fill out the Audition Request Form
To start the process of scheduling an audition for the Jaguar Marching Band please fill out the Audition Request Form below. Once you have submitted your Audition Request Form we will be in contact with you about the next steps for confirming your audition!
Auditions will be waived for woodwind and brass players who have auditioned and been accepted as a music major or minor, unless they wish to audition for the Jag Drumline or the USA Color Guard.

Auditions are confirmed two weeks prior to the audition date and all students must be fully admitted to USA before they audition!
Step 3 - Fill out JagSpot for Scholarship Consideration
When submitting your general scholarship application please click "yes" to the question regarding the USA Department of Music/Jaguar Marching Band. This will then move you to the Department of Music/Jaguar Marching Band JagSpot Application. Please fill out this short application completely. Once you have submitted this information you will be eligible for your Jaguar Marching Band Scholarship.
Wind playing students who live a prohibitive distance from campus may schedule a live, remote audition using internet video (Skype, Google Chat, Facetime, iChat, FaceBook chat, etc.). Please select "I need to request a special audition date" on the form above and then call (251) 460-6136 or email email@example.com so we can coordinate your audition.
